Essential Functions

Store Associates provide prompt and courteous customer service, stock product, run a register, assist in keeping store clean and assist management as needed. Must be able to interact with customers in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.

• Ensure an outstanding customer experience and drive sales by welcoming guests, sharing product knowledge, providing recommendations, and carrying out product for guests
• Foster an environment of teamwork, trust, and collaboration with co-workers
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the liquor stores, including stocking shelves on the sales floor and filling product in the beer cooler, and displaying of merchandise
• Answer store phone calls promptly and professionally, direct calls, and takes phone messages
• Communicate current pricing and promotions to customers
• Develop and maintain wine, beer, and spirits knowledge; keep up with industry trends in each product category
• Maintain stores’ high cleanliness standards by performing routine cleaning of the floor, the bathroom, and the parking lot
• Practice awareness and ensure theft at the store is at a minimum
• Utilize the point-of-sale system for every transaction; handle and manage cash
• Assist with in-store displays and signage
• Organize and maintain stock rooms and overstock products
• Comply with all laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Work in the store requires frequent bending and long periods of standing or walking. Employees must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
